10/1/15 - Guest Speaker Recap

On October 1st, our regular meeting was replaced by a presentation by Dr. Allison Weidhass from the Communications Department at Rider University. Her speech covered a woman’s involvement and view on the Public Relations industry.

The focal point of the presentation was Dr. Weidhass’ research, which consisted of interviewing of eighteen women who work in the PR industry, covering their professional lives as well as their responsibilities at home.

Overall Dr. Weidhass' research provided a good image of what working in the PR industry is like as a woman and a mother. We hope she can provide us with more presentations like this in the future.

Our regular meetings will resume next week on Thursday in Fine Arts Room 280 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Come join us for our next meeting!
